Anna Ruby Falls

Majestic Anna Ruby Falls - Tumbling down from Tray Mountain, two ordinary creeks, Curtis and York, flow over the exposed rock to form an extraordinary double falls. The tallest falls, formed from Curtis Creek drops 153 feet. York Creek joins it with a 50 foot drop. These two creeks together, and the base of waterfall, form Smith Creek. The three creeks were named after families living in the local area. Anna Ruby Falls is named for the only child of Captain John Nichols, a confederate colonel who made his home in nearby Sautee Nacoochee Valley. The Nichols reportedly found the falls while horseback riding.

The park also has hiking trails, a lake and a great beach for swimming. The beach near Anna Ruby Falls
